Thankyou for Your Help!

Youth Education Scholarships:

This is a monthly sponsorship subscription, which helps to cover education costs for BridgeWorks transitioning youth. Education costs per student vary from $20/mth (Yrs 1-3 High school); through to over $100/mth for university. BridgeWorks scholarship sponsorship is $25 or $50 (AUD) a month per child/youth. In the spirit of fairness, this is “pooled” in the BridgeWorks Scholarship Fund, to make it possible to assist those at every level of education. The scholarship will help provide day-to-day expenses that includes school fees, text books, uniforms, stationary, and other associated costs. (Note – if you wish to make a one-time or occasional  donation to the Scholarship Fund; you can do so in the “Miscellaneous Items” section below).

Youth Scholarship:
Message / Extra Details:

BridgeWorks Youth Centre & Land Purchase:

Funding is needed to help build the BridgeWorks Youth Transition Centre. This includes the building construction as well as the final payment  for the land purchase.

Fund for Income-Generating Projects:

BridgeWorks is currently developing projects that help the young people learn vocational and business skills, as well as providing the opportunity to earn some income while still studying, and opening doors to future employment opportunities.

Funding is needed for equipment to help set up a commercial kitchen for Dinki Cakes on the BridgeWorks property.

Funding is also needed for the equipping of a Workshop, which will provide training and employment opportunities in technical / mechanical / maintenance skills, etc.

Miscellaneous Items:

Here are some small item needs that are gratefully received by BridgeWorks and distributed to children / youth on a greatest needs basis. You can also make a one-time or occasional  donation to the Scholarship Fund in this section. We have some great ideas if you are looking to buy a gift for a child, and you can also use this section to buy something in lieu of a gift to some-one else!
